About Glove Tech Pro

My name is Ben Blackburn, and I’m based in Winter Springs, FL. Glove Tech Pro began as a hobby when my daughter started playing softball, but its roots go much deeper. Like many of you, I grew up around the game. Weeknights and weekends were spent at the ballpark — whether I was on the field, watching my brothers play, or helping out while my dad coached and my mom served as our local Little League player’s agent. Baseball wasn’t just something we did; it was part of who we were.

When my daughter picked up the game, I pulled out all my old gear. Going through those dusty bags was like Christmas morning, even if my wife called it “junk.” The biggest surprise? How rough my old gloves were after years of use. So, I did what came naturally — I tore them down, rebuilt them, and fell in love with the process. That spark grew into what I now offer through Glove Tech Pro.

Ben Blackburn

Everyone has an origin story, and mine is simple but meaningful. Back in high school, a buddy of mine got a brand-new glove — perfectly shaped, perfectly broken in. I remember holding it and thinking, “This is as good as it gets.” At the time, I loved my own glove (a Zett 11.5″ infielder’s glove, hard to find even back then), but that moment stuck with me. Later, I realized that most gloves can feel that good with the right care, attention, and craftsmanship.

Gloves aren’t cheap, and they take a beating. Too often, we don’t know how to maintain the tools we rely on most. That’s where I come in. My mission is simple: to restore and customize your glove so it feels just as perfect in your hand as that glove did to me all those years ago.

Bring me your glove, and I’ll do everything I can to make it feel game-ready — like it was made just for you.

Before and After

Every glove has a story. Some arrive cracked, faded, and forgotten at the bottom of a gear bag. Others are worn down from years of hard work on the field. Each one gets a second chance here. Our gallery showcases the transformation — from broken-in and beaten down to fully restored, conditioned, and game-ready. These before-and-after photos highlight the craftsmanship, attention to detail, and passion that go into every glove we touch. Whether it’s a childhood favorite, a family heirloom, or your go-to gamer, we treat each glove with the same care and dedication, giving it new life while preserving its character.

Take a look at the transformations below — proof that no glove is too far gone to make a comeback.
